Not this Mojo...it's Denise- Mojo, the lounge...
at Tunku Abdul Rahman Road...

March 2006. Cynthia and I were having an interview with one of the shareholders of Denise-Mojo. The purpose was to gain information about the service delivery of the outlet as well as the lounge for our class presentation. Initially we were thinking to do Tao since Cynthia’s boyfriend worked there – easy to obtain information from the cafĂ©. However, afraid the other group(s) would do something quite similar to the business. Plus, Tao doesn’t have special events which actually could help us in producing a good report by applying the concepts we’ve learned from the subject.

Ended up, we’ve chosen Denise-Mojo to be the subject of our assignment. We went to interview Tim, who was one of the shareholders, on one Tuesday night after Web Development class. Before we went to Denise-Mojo, we’d dinner at DaLight (had no idea of where to dine, pathetic). The interview took about an hour, and then we took some pictures of the outlet (both interior and exterior looks). Our friend, the Egyptian bartender made us some drink, a glass of wine and Creamy Punani. There’re just nice. Thanks Tarek!

We left around 2330. We’re very pleased to have interview and some discussion with them. The staffs are very friendly honestly. Mojo is a nice place to be, neither for business talk nor for leisure purpose.

Apart from selling wine, they also have a lounge where customers can actually hang out with friends or clients while enjoying the wines.

About Mojo Lounge

Nevertheless, Denise also has a lounge in Kuching. However, the manager decided to give a name to the lounge in order to make it more appealing to the public. Reason being, it gives a brand new image of lounge where customer will have sense of feeling that, Denise is not just a place for them to purchase-and-leave, but actually letting them take a pleasure in tasting or drinking wines at such cozy lounge. Mojo has been established in July 2005 under the management of Mr Jeffrey Ng and the shareholders of the Denise. Hence, other than wine, they also sell liquor such as cocktails and beers where customer could have more options to fulfill their wants at Mojo.
